Urban Buffet gives perspective to commercial billboards in cities. Those spaces are intended to sell consumption as much as possible. The usage of available space above this building advertises all the unused, run down or vanished commercial billboards as the technological revolution is leading to new means of communication.
A reference to the French “Siècle des Lumières”, the sculpture lights the way to (or sparks) a bolder vision: what if the city’s available billboards were given a second life to create a denser art presence, making creative speech more accessible not only in touristic places but in any neighborhood of the city?
