From 2015 until the opening of the department store in March 2019, we worked closely with the architects from BIG and SRA on all different project phases: from the competition, presentations and technical reports through to the project supervision.
Our mission consisted in designing the general functional lighting as well as specific creative light installations:
- A unique chandelier that glows across the huge glass staircase and on the balcony floors, so they appear to float.
- A luminous entrance hall that draws passers-by from the Champs-Élysées and guides them to the upper floors of the store.
- A fabric of light nestled in the tapestry of the historical cupola made of glass tiles.
