On the occasion of the opening of the 58th Venice Biennale, DIOR reoccupied the Palazzo Labia for a timeless night in honour of the “Ball of the Century” that took place 68 years ago in this legendary Palace.

Our light installation wrapped the Pallazzo Labia up in mystery… The façade was vibrating with the golden glow of candlelight, indicating the destination to the guests coming by boat.

The soft and warm atmosphere created by the lighting enveloped the guests, while they were entering the Palace. Once they reached the inside patio, the sky illuminated with a thousand pearls of light invited them to dance.

Last but not least, the lighting animated the sculptural and reflective dresses of the Parolabianca troupe, directed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s artistic director for women’s collections.
